Pengertian dan Contoh Compound Prepositions

Compound prepositions adalah gabungan dari dua kata atau lebih untuk menerangkan kata benda. Gabungan dua atau lebih kata ini ditulis sebagai satu kata sehingga tampak seperti prepositions pada umumnya, tapi bisa juga dengan dua atau lebih kata yang terpisah.

Contoh:

1. As long as she gets the task done, I won’t have problem with her.
2. Josh came along and sat next to me.
3. I couldn’t make to the wedding due to the heavy rain.
4. In addition to what he has explained, you can read the manual book from page 13 to page 24.
5. When I looked out, there was something outside of my window.
