Hola, Learners! It’s the first day of 2019, let’s make this year count by getting organized! Want to know how? We’ll tell you!
Write it down
Not everyone has a long term memory and able to remember every information they were given. That is why, writing things down will surely help you to get organized. And by writing–we mean with a pen and a piece of paper or a notebook–you will remember it longer.
Write down plans, someone’s birthday, or important dates to make sure you will not miss any more meetings or plans. You can also write down your list of grocery shopping, so you will not buy stuff that is not on the list–talking about minimum budget.
Give everything a home
Have you ever stressed out because you couldn’t find your keys when you’re in a hurry? That’s because maybe you don’t give your keys a home. Everything needs a home in order for them to not get lost.
Sort your things by name or types, e.g., keys, books, CDs. Put them in the right order and you can label them so it will be easier for you to find the things you have. And after that, put the things back in their place so you will not lose them.
Be considerate
We all know that everything with “sale” on it looks gorgeous. But it will be splendid if you don’t buy the things you don’t need. Think about the money you will save and all the space you will have if you keep things decent.
Treat yourself once in a while is important, but treat yourself with consideration. Do you really need it or it’s just the hypnotizing “sale” word?
Be consistent
Don’t be organized only on January or because it is the beginning of 2019, keep it going until it becomes a habit. It may be hard at first, but if we do it one step at a time, we will be surprised by the outcome. Besides, the goal is to be a better-organized-you in 2019 and on.
